PRACTICE
AREAS

Landlord-Tenant Disputes

COVID-19 has complicated disputes for landlords and tenants. Landlords can be frustrated by technicalities; tenants may not know their rights. I can help you work through a landlord-tenant dispute for residential or commercial property.

Real Property

Whether you want to transfer real property, remove a cloud on your title, foreclose on a loan, or just seek counsel, I can provide you guidance and advice.

Civil Litigation

I have experience litigating a variety of lawsuits, from real property disputes to personal injury cases.

Juvenile Law and Adoption

Family can be complicated — emotionally and legally. I bring a cool head to help you find the best solution to your issues. Please note that, while I'm happy to assist you with adoptions, at this time, I am not taking on dissolution of marriage cases or allocation of parental responsibility cases.

Of Counsel

For attorneys, I am available for contract work on discrete projects—including drafting pleadings or motions.

our_vision

MY VISION

A firm’s heart is its clients.

Clients need creative and practical solutions to legal problems. Clients need an attorney when their case is murky and there are obstacles to achieving their desired result.  My job is to look for ways around obstacles — or ways to turn them to your advantage. Often, such solutions come from sustained, careful attention to your case. My firm is committed to approaching your case individually and creatively.

Clients need legal services and billing that fit their needs.  This means, in some cases, working on an hourly fee; in others, achieving a result for a flat fee. This means, sometimes, limiting the work done. Some clients need help with one part of a case but not others. In legal jargon, this is called unbundling representation, and my firm is open to it where appropriate. This means using legal assistants at a lower rate where possible and with my review. Overall, it means approaching cases creatively and individually.
